UEFA Champions League - Celtic v Real Madrid

 

Analysis:

Group F of the Champions League with Celtic have a good chance to qualify into the knockout phase, as the Scottish champions drawn with RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donestk, the host knowing if they can get 3 wins from this group stage may be just enough. However, Celtic had never met up with Real Madrid on the European stage, they had experienced beating Barcelona twice in their last 15 years, but not the Galatico giant!

 

Real Madrid expect to ease past the group, however, their defense had been a bit leaky at the back since the start of the new La Liga season. They had not kept a clean sheet from the last 4 straight games conceded against weaker opponents which you can see below.

 

Celtic will have their influential Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi missing, as he went off five minutes into the Old Firm Derby on Saturday and is not expected to feature here.

 

Real Madrid have a full strength squad pretty much, and bookies insist the opening Asian Goal Line tracking at 2.75 goals med water odds, all eyes still on high goals result.
