NBA -- Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets travel to the FTX Arena to do battle with the Miami Heat on Monday night.

The Miami Heat have won six of their first seven home games and trail Brooklyn by one full game for the best record in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, Miami Heat made the plays down the stretch of a 107-104 road victory against Chicago. The Heat (13-7) knocked down 14-for-40 from the three-point line and shot 43 percent overall. Jimmy Butler is averaging 23.6 points and 5.3 assists, while Tyler Herro is averaging 21.8 points and 5.7 rebounds. The Miami Heat are averaging 108.7 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allowing 102.5 points on 43.3 percent shooting.

 

 

 

 

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets (9-10) are looking to snap a six-game losing streak and are currently in tenth place in the Western Conference standings. On Friday, Denver allowed Milwaukee to shoot a blistering 63 percent from the field during a 120-109 home loss. Nikola Jokic is averaging 26.4 points and 13.6 rebounds, while Will Barton is averaging 16.3 points and 5.4 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets are averaging 102.8 points on 45.5 percent shooting and allowing 103.5 points on 46.4 percent shooting.

Miami G Tyler Herro did not play in Saturday’s victory due to his illness and is listed as questionable for this game. However, the Heat still are an efficiency machine and will win at home.

English Premier League -- Chelsea vs Manchester United

After the 1-1 draw with Burnley before the international match day, Thomas Tuchel's team's fate in the Premier League also improved as the shining Blues beat Leicester City 3-0 at King Power. Then the Champions League holders beat Juventus 4-0 at Stamford Bridge. The victory over Juventus marked Chelsea's ninth victory in nearly 10 games. The league leaders still led Manchester City by three points and concede four of the league's lowest goals in the whole season - but three of them have come at home.

 

 

 

 

Manchester United are currently seven places and 12 points behind Chelsea. No Manchester United fan needs to remind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer how his rule achieved the worst results in Watford in the last Premier League game. Solskjaer lost five of his last seven Premier League games at Manchester United. Fortunately, Michael Carrick led the Red Devils to win the much-needed Champions League knockout seat in the 2-0 victory over Villarreal in midweek.

 

History may be on the side of the Red Devils because they have been unbeaten in the last seven Premier League games against Chelsea. But now Tuchel's team have shown an unstoppable momentum, Chelsea should should have no problem ending their winless record against the Red Devils.

England Championship -- West Bromwich(WBA) vs Nottingham Forest

West Bromwich got 22 points from their first 10 Championship games this season, which showed that the head coach had made the right technical tactics. However, they have just grabbed 11 points in last nine matches, the most recent disappointment was a goalless draw with Blackpool. They currently rank 3rd in the league table with 33 points, eight points behind Bournemouth.

 

 

 

 

Nottingham Forest's performance this season is not ideal. So far, the team have achieved 6W-6D-7L after 19 rounds of league matches. They currently rank 13th in the league list with 24 points. The Foxes then picked up their first win, beating Spartak Moscow 4-3 before drawing 1-1 against the same opponents in their last Europa game.

 

 

 

Legia Warszawa 

Currently crashing and burning in defence of their Ekstraklasa title this term, Legia Warszawa have managed to stay in 2nd position, a point clear of Leicester City for this week.  Legia Warszawa started the season with 1-0 wins against Moscow and this foe in away and home games respectively. They have since lost by 3 goals to Napoli both home and away as they were beaten 4-1 by Napoli last time out in Group C. 

 

Leicester City have been far from their best in the Europa League so far. However, Legia Warszawa have picked up just one win in their last nine games across all competitions. Judging by recent form, the hosts should pick up three points on Thursday.

UEFA Champions League -- Sheriff Tiraspol vs Real Madrid

Sheriff are one of the most surprising teams in the Champions League this season. They beat Donetsk and Real Madrid in the first two rounds. However, due to the strength gap between them and the strong teams, the team were defeated by Inter twice in a row. They currently rank 3rd in the group, are only three point gap from the second Inter Milan, and there is still hope to qualify. The winning rate of the last 10 games of them has reached 80%. But Sheriff have conceded up to 7 goals in the previous four rounds of group games, and the loopholes in defense are large.

 

 

 

Real Madrid have continued to maintain their strength recently. Atlanta United are in fifth place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings and have punched above their weight this season. They edged FC Cincinnati to a 2-1 victory earlier this month. Atlanta United will go into this unbeaten in the last six MLS affairs.

 

 

Prediction

Atlanta United have stepped up towards the latter stages of their campaign and will also be confident on Sunday. However, New York City hold a slight upper hand at the moment and should be able to win this game. 

English Premier League -- Liverpool vs Arsenal

Liverpool unexpectedly lost 3-2 to West Ham United in the last league game, which ending their unbeaten record since the start of the league this season. They currently rank 4th in the table with 22 points. The team's offense firepower is still outstanding for the goal rate is the first-level in Premier League. Striker Salah is in amazing form and is at the top of the Premier League scorer list this season with 10 goals and 24 shots. But there are many wounded in the team currently, including Firmino, Naby Keïta, Milner.

Finland have produced some good performances recently. However, there is no denying the quality of France’s squad. As against almost all international opposition, France will be favourites to win.

FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) -- Wales vs Belgium

The win over Belarus allowed Wales to pad their statistics ahead of their final 2022 World Cup qualifier against Belgium.

 

Wales are already guaranteed a position in the playoffs due to their UEFA Nations League performance. They are now second in Group E, three points clear of third-placed Czech Republic. Wales have won four, drawn two and lost one of their seven Group E matches, and they are unbeaten in their last five games in the section, picking up three victories in the process. Wales kept their dreams of clinching the qualification playoff spot alive last time out when they secured a commanding 5-1 win over Belarus.

 

 

 

 

Belgium, meanwhile, have been the standout team in Group E, winning six and drawing one of their seven matches to collect 19 points, which has left them five points clear of second-placed Wales. FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) -- Portugal vs Serbia

With a doomed Euro 2020 campaign now consigned to history, Portugal return to action on Wednesday to face the Republic of Ireland in a World Cup qualifier in Group A.

Portugal are actually unbeaten in World Cup qualification matches since September 2016, while they will bring a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions into Sunday's key fixture. A record of five wins and two draws has seen Portugal collect 17 points, while they have scored 16 times and conceded just four during a successful qualification campaign to date. Recently, they were only in friendly action on Thursday, recording a 4-0 victory over Qatar, with their last competitive fixture being the 3-1 home success against Azerbaijan on October 12. Serbia picked up their third consecutive win as they comfortably saw off Qatar 4-0 in a friendly fixture last time out.

In last encounter, two teams shared a 2-2 draw at the end of March. With first place on the line in this one, expect a thrilling contest between the sides. Take Portugal to be unbeaten with a narrow margin.

FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) -- France VS Kazakhstan

French beat the world's first place Belgium and the world's seventh place Spain in the 

UEFA Nations League semi-finals and finals earlier. Benzema and Mbappé were in excellent condition and scored goals respectively, helping the team win the championship finally. The team have achieved three consecutive victories in various events, which are in excellent condition. In the last round of world preliminaries, they defeated Finland 2-0. They currently rank 1st in the in group D with an unbeaten record, three points higher than Ukraine, which was second, and the qualifying situation is quite optimistic.

 

 

 

 

Kazakhstan currently rank 125th in the world, far from the strength of France. At present, they are difficult to win one of the seven group games, with only 3 points at the bottom. Before the draw with Hungary, England got a comprehensive 5-0 thrashing of Andorra.

 

 

 

Albania are still in with a shot of a top-two finish as they occupy third place. After recording their third victory and third clean sheet of Qualifying on the bounce against Hungary, Albania fell 0-1 at home to Poland in the previous round only after conceding a late goal in what was the only shot on target by the Polish team, which made them below their counterparts in the standings. Albania conceded only one goal in the last four World Cup qualifiers.

 

This is the clash between the top two defensive lines in the group. England are under pressure to respond following their disappointing showing against Hungary. Knowing how tough Albania have been to break down recently, expect Albania not to lose by two or more goals difference.
