NBA -- Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets travel to the FTX Arena to do battle with the Miami Heat on Monday night.

The Miami Heat have won six of their first seven home games and trail Brooklyn by one full game for the best record in the Eastern Conference. On Saturday, Miami Heat made the plays down the stretch of a 107-104 road victory against Chicago. The Heat (13-7) knocked down 14-for-40 from the three-point line and shot 43 percent overall. Jimmy Butler is averaging 23.6 points and 5.3 assists, while Tyler Herro is averaging 21.8 points and 5.7 rebounds. The Miami Heat are averaging 108.7 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allowing 102.5 points on 43.3 percent shooting.

 

 

 

 

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets (9-10) are looking to snap a six-game losing streak and are currently in tenth place in the Western Conference standings. On Friday, Denver allowed Milwaukee to shoot a blistering 63 percent from the field during a 120-109 home loss. Nikola Jokic is averaging 26.4 points and 13.6 rebounds, while Will Barton is averaging 16.3 points and 5.4 rebounds. The Denver Nuggets are averaging 102.8 points on 45.5 percent shooting and allowing 103.5 points on 46.4 percent shooting.

Miami G Tyler Herro did not play in Saturday’s victory due to his illness and is listed as questionable for this game. However, the Heat still are an efficiency machine and will win at home.
