English Premier League -- Manchester United vs Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace journey to Old Trafford on Sunday for the Premier League fixture with home team Manchester United.

 

Thursday's success over Arsenal moved Manchester United into seventh spot in the league table, three points behind fourth-placed West Ham United at the moment and have struggled this season. In spite of all their problems, United showed fighting spirit in recording a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge in the last match-day. So far, not once have the Man United kept a clean sheet at home this season. They had let in a total of nine goals from the last three appearances at home.

 

 

 

 

Crystal Palace are in 11th place in the Premier League standings. They have won three, drawn seven and lost four of their 14 matches to collect 16 points. Crystal are on a three-game winless run in England's top flight, losing their last two matches against Aston Villa and Leeds United, in addition to drawing 3-3 at Burnley on November 20. However, have endured a minor slump in recent weeks and suffered a 1-0 defeat against Leeds United in their midweek fixture.

 

Crystal Palace have a total of only four wins on the road in 2021 and they have an inferior h2h record against Manchester United over the years. Considering these facts, expect a win for Manchester United at home.
