This puts them two points ahead of  Eindhoven and five points ahead of Bodo/Glimt, whom they also defeated 1-0 last week. PSV continued to play at a high level and destroyed Utrecht 6-1 in the Eredivisie to maintain their lead over defending champions Ajax and make it four straight victories across all competitions. A win on Thursday would put them six points ahead of Bodo/Glimt.

The teams are on the verge of moving on to the next round, and both coaches like aggressive play. This game should have a lot of goals. The visitors have suffered some significant losses; Arsenal is performing somewhat better in this regard.
