UEFA Europa Conference League-Brunos Magpie VS Dundalk

 

 

The Magpies finished the 2022/23 Gibraltar National League in third place following the end of the season in April. Their last competitive match was over three months ago in the Rock Cup final. Magpies Bruno would go on to lift the trophy after a penalty shootout victory over Lincoln Red Imps. Since then, the Magpies have only played in one friendly match which ended in a 3-0 loss against Championship side Preston North End.

 

Dundalk has the advantage that their season has been in full swing, meaning players will have no rust to lose. Their most recent outing ended in a 3-2 away loss to Bohemian, a result which ended a five match unbeaten run.

 

Dundalk is in full swing. This Irish club is fairly experienced in European competition having played in the group stages of the Europa League in the 2016/17 and 2020/21 seasons. Dundalk are also in solid form overall and have had no trouble finding the net lately.
