Rennes beat Lyon 3-0 adding more pressure to Lyon's hope of challenging for a place in next season's Champions League already, last game was washed out for Lyon, and poor defensive errors gifted some of the goals.

 

Monaco narrowly beat St Etienne 1-0 in the opening home fixture and met the punter's expectations, however, the weakness for Monaco is in their attack. The last 6 head to head here in Lyon, Monaco had lost 5 times, it doesn't seem they will break the curse despite Lyon having an awful start in the new season.
